JDM Combe Latest

26th October 2018

The West Country’s home of motorsport – Wiltshire’s Castle Combe Circuit – has confirmed dates for six of its long-established Action Day car shows in 2019, with the potential of a new event at the end of the season!

Best known for their endless array of on- and off-track entertainment, the venue’s Action Days typically feature drifting demonstrations, public track time and white-knuckle passenger laps on the circuit itself, whilst vast static club stands, trade villages and Show and Shine competitions ensure the outer display areas are equally as unmissable.

Kicking things off, the ‘official start to the show season’ – Spring Action Day – makes a triumphant return on Saturday 30th March. Expect performance cars both old and new to flock in their thousands to this extremely popular day.

Next up is an event for those who love cars that sport that iconic blue oval badge – Pure Ford – which has been confirmed for Saturday 27th April. Now in its third successful year, it celebrates the marque with the likes of Ford-only track time, an impressive concours area and, of course, hundreds of dedicated club stands.

As we move into the mid-summer months, things are celebrated in style in the form of Summer Action Festival which takes place on Saturday 22nd June. With the motto of welcoming cars of ‘all ages, all makes and all models’, it’s likely the sea of machinery on hand will once again be extremely eclectic indeed.

JDMCombe takes place on Saturday 13th July, focusing solely on cars from Japanese manufacturers both on and off the circuit. Think Honda S2000s, Toyota Supras and everything big and small in-between!

Back to another multi-marque gathering next as Forge Action Day takes centre stage on Saturday 7th September. ‘Performance cars’ is the buzz-phrase for this much-loved show that offers an unrivalled trade village and, of course, plenty of track action.

Things go pocket-sized for Mini Action Day on Saturday 28th September – the UK’s oldest, best and ONLY track-based Mini event. Prepare to marvel at the hundreds of both old and new examples of this iconic car that make the venue their home for the day.

Finally, a new event may be on the horizon, acting as an exciting end-of-season meet. Designed for those that are craving one more excuse to get their dose of car show action before the year’s over, more details will follow on this exciting new date shortly...

Details for booking tickets (clubs and public) will be announced very soon!

That’s Not All…

As well as Action Days, the Wiltshire circuit is set to play host to an array of thrilling race meetings, track days and experience packages throughout what promises to be another jam-packed year of excitement. Dates for these will be announced very soon!
